Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an entry‑level Mechanical Engineer to address infrastructure challenges within our Equipments sub‑discipline, contributing to LNG projects and supporting diverse teams across design and execution. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Must complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR).

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with design guides, standards and BV policies.
• Equipment sizing and performance calculations.
• Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Contribute to basic engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, and specs.
• Collect and manage data for engineering work.
• Perform basic engineering calculations following standard methods.
• Adhere to budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Support project teams and understand client drivers.
