Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Staff Registered Mechanical Equipment Engineer for LNG solutions. You will mentor a ~15-person team, specify and procure heavy mechanical equipment, and ensure compliance with ASME/API standards for Floating LNG, LNG export, and regasification projects.

The role requires deep technical knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across US and international design teams. Hybrid work options and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• P.E. licensure required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical equipment for LNG/oil & gas.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and engineer equipment for LNG projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients across global sites.
• Prepare data sheets, specs, and bid evaluations.
