Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate to gain hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience from day one. This entry-level role supports mechanical systems for vertical building projects, collaborating with project teams to meet code and client needs.

You’ll work under senior engineers on HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design, with exposure to BIM, load calculations, and energy-efficient design aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design basics.
• Familiarity with thermodynamics, psychrometrics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
• Ability to learn BIM tools and engineering software for design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and analyzing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Develop designs, specifications, and calculations to meet codes.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and gather requirements.
• Support project planning, documentation, and scheduling activities.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and collaborate with senior engineers.
