Amentum is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer for our Annapolis Junction area to contribute to HVAC and building design projects. A demonstrated record of achievement and work ethic are expected as you join a high-performing team delivering quality work to clients.

Qualifications include an ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree, US citizenship, and zero-to-three years of HVAC/building design experience with HVAC/heat transfer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degreed Mechanical Engineer from an ABET accredited program.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Zero to three years of experience in HVAC and building design with understanding of HVAC and heat transfer principles.
• Full-time in the office. Hybrid and remote work are not practical for this position.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Paint).
• Competent with AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit desirable.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
