Job summary

MDP Engineering is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to contribute to commercial design projects, including hospitality and multi-family residential work in downtown Denver.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT, and knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes. LEED project experience, client-facing skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks will help you succeed and grow with our team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes.
• Experience with LEED Certified projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visual, and some REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, development, and preparation of construction documents.
• Interface with clients regularly.
• Perform a variety of office and/or field functions related to potentially complex engineering problems.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines.
• Work independently and prioritize workload and projects.
• Must be proficient in applying building codes.
