Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills preferred.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, curious and able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Model components and systems in Revit for HVAC, plumbing and/or fire protection.
• Execute project setups in Revit for mechanical models.
• Design, layout and coordinate mechanical equipment within a room/plan.
• Engage in mentorship with lead engineers to learn fundamentals.
• Autonomously implement delegated design tasks.
• Develop Table of Contents for Division 21, 22, 23 specifications.
• Learn system sizing calculations under guidance of project designer/lead.
• Check own work for graphical issues per Design Standards.
• Collaborate with QAQC per Design Process.
