Job summary

ABB is seeking an Engineering Manager to support engineering activities across project sizes. You will oversee cost-effective tasks aligned with contract specs, quality, safety, and cybersecurity.

You will collect data and support engineering design production in an onsite role within the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division in the US. Responsibilities include analysis, basic design tasks, and documentation, with collaboration across customers, contractors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience for entry level engineering roles.
• Experience with low complexity orders and mechanical designs.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and design platforms.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles and fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
• Exercise judgment on limited details and apply standard methods in deliverables.
• Assist customers on technical issues and interact with contractors and staff.
• Support communication for specific assignments or meetings.
• Participate in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.
