Job summary

ABB is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to support mechanical BOM release, 3D design, and part-number creation for doors and panels. You will work with Creo/SolidWorks, manage PLM, and publish new designs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 0–2+ years of related experience, and familiarity with NEC and IEEE standards. Onsite work in Mebane, NC, with strong CAD and ERP collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 0–2+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience with 3D design using Creo, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Familiar with NEC, ANSI, IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Release mechanical BOMs to ERP for assigned orders.
• Create 3D models and drawings for new requisitions using Creo or SolidWorks.
• Create part numbers and drawings for customers’ doors and panels.
• Manage PLM system and publish new designs.
• Utilize 3D modeling for engineering solutions per contract specs.
• Prepare drawings and specifications for manufacturing or fabrication.
