Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking an entry-level General Assembly associate for our Gas Power Manufacturing plant.

The role involves assembling, installing and calibrating subassemblies, performing precision measurements, and following lean manufacturing practices in a safety-first environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic blueprint-reading and shop math skills, and be willing to work 2nd shift with overtime and weekend potential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years related work experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math and use precision measurement equipment.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and lift up to 50 lbs; pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts per work instructions.
• Perform preset calibration and final testing on sub‑assemblies or complete units.
• Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per work instructions.
• Use micrometers, calipers and CMMs to perform precise measurements.
