Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to join our field service team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair diesel equipment across a variety of makes and models.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3–5 years of mechanic experience preferred. The job offers a safety-focused environment, opportunities to advance into service or operations management, and a team-driven culture. Occasional bilingual skills may be needed depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics to keep equipment in safe, productive condition.
• Repair equipment in the safest, most effective way to minimize downtime.
• Work with a fleet that may include aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and related gear.
