Freshfields Jacksonville Llc is seeking an Entry Meat Production Associate to join our Jacksonville, FL team. You will perform meat production tasks under supervision and may be placed in different areas based on your experience level and training.

You will learn company protocols, assist with packaging, and ensure safety and sanitation across the production floor. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to health regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred; entry level positions available.
• Food Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify different breeds of meat and the primal sections of each breed.
• Handle raw beef, pork, poultry, and seafood.
• Use knives and/or band saws for cutting/prepping raw meat for packaging.
• Apply safety/health protocols set by the company and relevant laws.
• Cut and arrange beef, pork, poultry, and seafood onto trays per protocol.
• Maintain proper cleaning and sanitation of production areas and equipment.
• Demonstrate integrity and represent Freshfields Farm professionally.
• Operate pallet jack after training.
• Use ladders as needed throughout the building.
• Assist with additional tasks requiring manpower.
• Wrap meat using manual or automated wrapping machines.
