Job summary

S.W. COLE Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Materials Testing Technician based in Easton, MA. You will drive to construction sites across Eastern MA and RI, perform field tests on concrete, soil, aggregate, and other materials, and document results.

You will train on the job, learn to read plans, and gain certifications. The role involves some early mornings, overtime in season, and safe operation on active sites. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for calculating values and measurements.
• Ability to observe, record observations, and test results accurately.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding fieldwork and lift samples.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites and perform field tests on materials (concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt, grout, mortar, steel).
• Document test results and observations clearly.
• Work in both field and laboratory environments and pursue certifications.
