Job summary

S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. seeks a Laboratory Technician for our Somersworth, NH office to perform construction materials testing in the lab and in the field. You will inspect samples of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and aggregate, report results, and assist with lab organization and project visits.

Experienced candidates are welcome, but we train and pay you to learn. The role includes lab duties, field sampling, and possible weekend work with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Training provided; prior experience helpful but not required for entry level.
• Legal to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
• Experience in construction materials testing preferred for advanced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Maintain the laboratory and assist field projects with sampling.
• Collect, document, and report test results to project teams.
• Occasional weekend work and travel to job sites as needed.
