S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Materials Testing Technician based in White River Junction, NH, with project work across Vermont.

You will travel to construction sites to perform field tests on concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt, grout, mortar, and steel, typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work. No prior experience is required; we will train you and pay you while you learn.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform field tests on construction materials (concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt, grout, mortar, steel).
• Willingness to lift and carry samples and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites with the team.
• Perform field tests on materials such as concrete, soil, and asphalt.
• Assist in laboratory work and learn to read plans and specifications.
• Record observations and test results accurately in written or electronic forms.
• Maintain safety protocols and use provided PPE on all sites.
