Job summary

Gulfstream is seeking a materials planner to support Production and Completions within an MRP/ERP environment. You will audit planning data, respond to schedule changes, and coordinate with procurement and operations to ensure on-time parts availability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and entry-level experience in manufacturing/materials planning. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, with travel up to 25% and a focus on lean, safety, and quality practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry level. Related experience in manufacturing and materials planning or inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Establish material requirements aligned with production rates and lead times.
• Initiate purchase requisitions and orders for new or existing items at reorder points.
• Coordinate with Production Support, Manufacturing Engineering, and Purchasing to expedite parts.
• Analyze shortages, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and service-level reports.
• Generate replenishment schedules and communicate changes to buyers.
