Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace invites applications for a Material Planner I in Appleton, WI. The role supports Production and Completions within an ERP environment, auditing planning data and responding to BOM changes, while coordinating with procurement and operations teams to keep schedules aligned with demand and supply.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is proficient in Excel, and holds a Bachelor’s in Materials Management or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Entry level. Related experience in manufacturing and materials planning or inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Establish material requirements consistent with production rates, supplier lead times and corporate inventory objectives/policies.
• Coordinate with Product Support, Manufacturing Engineering, In House Shops, and purchasing to expedite parts in support of Operations and Gulfstream Customers.
• Initiate purchase requisitions and purchase orders for new items, unique items and existing items that have reached reorder points.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports pertaining to current status of inventory and overall customer service level.
• Generate replenishment schedules and coverage analysis for a buyer or planner and communicate changes as required.
