Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation seeks a seasoned Materials/Inventory professional to manage material control and master data with a strong focus on timely delivery and accuracy. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Quality and Operations to resolve inventory issues and support the Master Production Schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 5 years of manufacturing/materials experience, with Master’s degree offset options. Travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Materials Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering or related field; 5 years manufacturing/materials experience.
• Master's degree may offset 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely delivery of materials to satisfy manufacturing requirements.
• Identify and analyze recurring critical path items to mitigate production delays.
• Track and status work in progress and inventory levels; identify trends and report to management.
• Interface with departments to ensure schedule integrity, job status, and material availability.
• Provide daily updates on aircraft flow, cost variances, and material issues.
