Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking an entry-level Material Control Specialist I in Orlando, FL. You will support receiving, shipping, inventory, and material handling to back customer orders and production needs, while following strict safety standards and high service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fork lift certification is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license or privilege by date of employment and thereafter and maintain it in good status.
• Current CDL license preferred, including compliance with all DOT regulations and medical certification standards.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds; possible exposure to chemicals.
• Work environment may be loud; follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required to support customers.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of forklift, pallet jacks, and extended lifts; complete daily forklift checklist.
• Unload, unpack, and verify materials against packing lists and documentation; report shortages.
• Safely package products and stage/load outbound packages as required.
• Perform periodic warehouse inventory counts to validate inventory levels.
• Pick, pull, put-away, and deliver items per transfer orders.
• Perform real-time transactions in SAP and SharePoint.
• Deliver mail and product to designated locations.
• Maintain 6-S responsibilities and organizational standards.
