Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. seeks an entry-level technician to support master technicians at our Tukwila, WA site. The role focuses on inspecting, cleaning and testing Marine Diesel Engines while gaining hands-on experience with heavy equipment.

The position requires basic machinery knowledge, a valid driver’s license and physical stamina to stand for long periods. CAT product exposure is a plus, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, prep and test Marine Diesel Engines.
• Service equipment at intervals and perform minor troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist master technicians in repairs and other duties as needed.
