Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 0-3+ years in UI software development for embedded systems (e.g., automotive).
• Fluent in English with strong communication.
• HTML5 Canvas elements.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and WebSockets.
• Nginx configuration.
• Python with CAN tool libraries.
• Experience with React and UI components.
• Experience with CSS.
• Experience with GitHub or similar version control.
• Documentation of UI software specs from UX perspective.
• Familiarity with marine products (fishing motors, boats).
• Familiarity with SVG graphics.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• CAN: J1939 and NMEA2000 protocols.
• Understanding of microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with YOCTO.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-minded attitude.
• Attention to detail and independence.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements, design software architecture, and code backend and frontend for embedded systems.
• Write docs to communicate system architecture, solutions, processes, requirements and project schedules.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Performs other duties as required.
