Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a Development Engineer Manager to lead the Marine team. You will oversee the full product development lifecycle for ADAS, autonomous marine technologies, and new marine products, coordinating across software, controls, electrical, mechanical, and product planning.

You will guide requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and launch activities while aligning with validation, legal/IP, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
Experience leading engineering programs and cross-functional teams.
Strong ability to communicate with senior leadership on tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end development lifecycle for ADAS and autonomous marine systems.
Lead coordination across software, controls, electrical, mechanical, and product planning.
Set priorities and allocate resources based on value, safety, and risk.
Drive alignment on system requirements, interfaces, and verification.
Provide leadership to project leads and engineering teams across functions.
Monitor risks across multiple workstreams and manage execution.
Improve systems engineering, simulation, prototyping, and on-water validation.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and supplier decisions for advanced tech programs.
Contribute to broader tech-roadmap for intelligent marine products.
