Job summary

E-ONE, a Terex Corporation brand, manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks in Ocala, FL. This facility builds pumpers, tankers, aerials, rescues, and ARFF vehicles with state-of-the-art technology and a strong safety culture.

Primary responsibility is to perform basic assembly functions, rigging, and installation of basic accessories using power and hand tools. Emphasis on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Math and blueprint reading skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Commitment to E-ONE quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow schedules, manuals, wiring diagrams, shop orders, prints, and instructions; become familiar with schematics.
• Identify and understand basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical components used in assembly.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Review shop orders and retrieve parts from staging locations.
• Participate in LEAN and continuous improvement activities.
