Responsibilities

• Assist workers in forming and fabrication of metal products.
• Lift, position, and move work pieces to assist fitting/welding.
• Measure and mark reference points for layouts.
• Load, transport materials and tools by hand or cart.
• Install insulation in enclosures, bases, or tanks as needed.
• Operate cutting torch or handheld cutters to assist fabrication.
• Maintain an orderly work area and move products as required.
• Report material, production, quality, or safety issues to supervisor.
