Branch Medical Group, a subsidiary of Globus Medical Inc., is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations and learn manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality requirements.

This entry-level role focuses on safe, efficient, and repeatable production, with exposure to tooling, QA, and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced medical device environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Machining technology degree or mechanical engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years hands-on experience as a department lead or setup role within the discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with day-to-day production support and maintain work instructions, SOPs, BOMs, routes, and setup sheets.
• Collect and analyze basic production and quality data (scrap, cycle time, uptime).
• Support setup, troubleshooting, and minor adjustments of manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with tooling, fixtures, and gauge implementation and maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement activities (5S, lean events, root cause analysis).
• Assist with validation of new or revised manufacturing processes.
• Participate in problem solving for quality, safety, and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with operators, engineers, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Support training of operators on new or updated processes.
• Assist Quality engineers in writing IQ, OQ & PQ protocols compliant with SOPs.
