Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Indiana is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will serve as the primary contact for programs, help develop recovery plans, review requirements, track schedules, and support design and manufacturing changes while working closely with the Unit Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• DOE security clearance ability required.
• Willingness to train on first shift for up to 6 months.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing preferred.
• MS Office proficiency and familiarity with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact and coordinator for the program.
• Assist in developing detailed recovery plans for projects.
• Review contract and design requirements for quality notifications.
• Track project schedules and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Unit Manager to maintain contract performance metrics.
• Interface with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to manage design changes.
• Support quotes for new work by reviewing requirements and estimating person-hours.
• Perform special assignments as needed.
