Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer I to support designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes for Parker products. You will help plan layouts, optimize production, and ensure quality and safety guidelines are met.

Under direct supervision, you will assist in developing improved manufacturing techniques, testing new systems, and supporting manufacturing and assembly in a single facility. Strong CAD/CAM familiarity and GD&T knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field with 0-2 years of experience.
• SME or ASME certification desired.
• Knowledge of data structures and database programming.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to work with CAD/CAM systems or other computer aided manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Process Flow – plan and design processes to improve manufacture and assembly.
• Process Improvement – implement projects to improve efficiency, yield, safety and cost.
• Engineering Design Support – provide input to senior engineers on design concepts and specs.
• Remediation – investigate issues and recommend corrective actions to ensure quality.
