Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support the operation, inspection and light maintenance of building systems. You will work with the engineering team on a 237,000 square foot Class A office building in Minneapolis, performing basic carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and painting tasks.

The role involves completing work orders in CMMS, keeping tools and supplies organized, and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school, union training, military service or college is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting.
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintain service documentation.
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe condition.
• Work under supervision of Operating Engineers and Chief Engineers.
