Job summary

Harvard Integrations is seeking a facility maintenance technician to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, and building systems to support safe, productive operations. You will perform routine upkeep, assist with dismantling and part replacement, and help with cleaning and storage of tools and materials.

The role requires basic hand tools, basic computer skills, and experience with forklifts and skid-steers.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience using basic hand tools for repairs and maintenance.
Fundamental computer skills for work order tracking and documentation.
Experience operating forklifts and skid-steer equipment in a shop or facility setting.
Basic electrical experience including reading simple electrical schematics.
Adept at reading electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, structures, and plumbing/electrical systems to ensure safety and productivity.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on shop equipment and facilities.
Assist with dismantling machines, replacing defective parts and motors, and adjusting feeds.
Paint machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
Assist with building repairs including electrical, HVAC, plumbing and structural work.
Oversee contractors for building, equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
Organize and store materials and equipment properly.
Follow quality guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Follow established safety guidelines and perform additional duties as requested.
