Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to support a mining and processing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect and repair plant equipment, and maintain replacement parts on a swing shift.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic mechanical skills, and familiarity with welding basics and hand tools. On-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in mechanical repair or industrial environments preferred.
• Basic welding, fabrication and tool use skills required.
• Must be able to follow PPE requirements and wear respirator if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per guidelines and manufacturer specs.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of common replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address breakdowns promptly.
• Report issues to supervisor and complete documentation on time.
• Adhere to safety, environmental and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit)
