Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an ENTRY LEVEL Maintenance Technician for our mining/processing client in North America. This swing-shift role focuses on keeping mining and processing equipment ready and operational through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

The successful candidate should have basic mechanical skills, welding, light fabrication, and basic computer skills. Our client offers a strong benefits package including 401(k), health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
• Complete required reports and documentation on time
