Job summary

Staples in Coppell, TX is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Tech I for the 1st shift. This role supports warehouse operations by keeping material handling equipment functional and safe, with hands-on learning in hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial battery maintenance.

You will work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, in a full-time position with benefits and growth opportunities within Staples' supply chain network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds and work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Basic English proficiency, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Keep material handling equipment functional and safe.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks per MHE certification.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain good working relationships.
