Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to learn to operate overhead crane and forklift.
• Familiar with hand/power tools and precision tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).
• Willing to wear PPE throughout shift (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs).
• Must communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Able to arrive on time and work full shifts consistently.
• Ability to independently solve problems and perform corrective actions.
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance on production equipment per manuals and specs; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Dismantle, move, assemble, weld, and repair industrial machinery per layouts and instructions.
• Dismantle using hand tools and move equipment with hoists/rollers; install conveyors; align machines; perform scheduled maintenance.
• Identify sources of problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision instruments.
• Remove defective parts and components using appropriate tools.
• Minimize downtime through effective preventive maintenance routines.
• Set up and operate machine tools to rework or fabricate parts.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
