GT Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Machinist to support the Product Development team in Millbury, OH. You will machine simple parts, read drawings, and help prepare machines and tooling under experienced guidance.

You will use calipers and micrometers to inspect parts, maintain a safe, clean workspace, and report any issues promptly. Prior machining coursework or hands-on experience is helpful but not required, making this a great on-ramp role for motivated learners.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in machining.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform basic shop math.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Machining coursework or vocational training helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Machine simple parts using established instructions and approved setups.
• Assist with preparing machines, tooling, and materials for machining operations.
• Read basic part drawings and follow specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Use measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to inspect parts.
• Deburr, clean, and prepare completed parts for use.
• Report machining problems, damaged tooling, and nonconforming parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with routine machine maintenance and repairs under the direction of qualified personnel.
• Unload, identify, and safely store incoming material.
• Handle parts, tooling, and materials safely to prevent injury or damage.
• Communicate job status, material needs, and equipment issues to the supervisor.
