Coilcraft, Inc. in Cary, Illinois is seeking an entry-level CNC Machinist to grow with our precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, and inspect parts using precision measuring tools in a clean, modern facility.

The role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of machining experience or recent trade school training, eager to develop skills alongside experienced machinists while contributing to high-quality components for global applications.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years CNC machining experience preferred (trade school/apprenticeship accepted)
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with precision measuring tools; strong mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
Make basic tool offsets and machine adjustments
Monitor machine performance and part quality
Maintain production and inspection records
Perform routine machine maintenance
Work with engineering, quality, and production teams
Follow company safety and quality standards
