Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Grayslake, IL is seeking a production-team member to operate machines, read BOMs and blueprints, and collaborate with the Cell Lead to meet customer specifications.

You will use air and power tools, participate in inline quality checks with the Quality Department, and keep the work area clean and organized. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills (Excel), and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Basic reading of BOMs and blueprints required.
• Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
• Communicate with Cell Lead on issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines per Cell Lead.
• Read and interpret BOMs and blueprints.
• Report discrepancies to Cell Lead.
• Assist Quality Dept with inspections to ensure customer specs and industrial standards.
• Maintain tools and work area in an organized manner.
• Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
