Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking a Machine Shop Attendant to support daily operations in the machine shop, handling parts and materials and following lead instructions. This is an entry-level position with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and accurate material handling.

The role involves loading/unloading, following specifications, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area. Training will cover CNC handling, 5s practices, and production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; no prior work experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to follow established safety procedures.
• Expected to help meet and exceed predetermined daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material in the machine shop.
• Read work orders and follow oral instructions from Lead/Supervisor.
• Move product to appropriate locations using material moving equipment.
• Remove cutting waste from CNC machines and manage hoppers/bins.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and shop.
• Work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
• Participate in 5s workplace organization activities.
