Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Machine Shop Attendant in New Hampshire to support production by loading and unloading materials, reading work orders, and ensuring proper material delivery to CNC and assembly areas. The role requires standing most of the shift and occasional forklift use.

This entry-level position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability. Shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours may occur, with potential overtime based on business needs; candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Entry-level position; no prior work experience required.
Forklift experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Must be able to follow established safety procedures.
Expected to help meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload material in the machine shop.
Read work orders and follow oral instructions of Lead/Supervisor to deliver correct material.
Move product to appropriate location using pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies.
Remove cutting waste from CNC machines and manage waste containers.
Maintain cleanliness around the work area and shop.
May work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
Participate in 5s workplace organization activities.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
