Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Preventative Maintenance Technician I to join a modern industrial facility in New Hampshire. The role uses drawings, manuals, schematics and instructions to perform maintenance tasks, working independently or in teams with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operators.

The position emphasizes basic tools knowledge, safety, and collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and to travel to SIG SAUER facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years in technical maintenance or related field recommended.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and CMMS systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Basic plumbing, pneumatics, and mechanical knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery per procedures.
• Document parts usage and daily maintenance activities in paperwork/system.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; participate in 5S activities.
• Assist with repairs of manufacturing production equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operators on maintenance tasks.
• Travel to SIG SAUER facilities as required.
