Job summary

Nashville Wire Products in Missouri is hiring for an entry-level production operator. You will run basic machinery, assist with loading and unloading, and perform simple quality checks. No prior experience is required and on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, keeping areas clean, and reading basic measuring tools. The job is physically active, with standing and regular lifting of up to 40 lbs, and occasional heavier lifts as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to understand written or printed material and communicate with co-workers.
• Basic math abilities including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic productivity equipment and production machinery.
• Move materials and/or parts between workstations.
• Assist other operators by loading or unloading jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assemble and/or pack products and load/unload machines, conveyors, pallets or lines.
• Maintain accurate counts of production parts and follow established safety procedures.
• Read measuring instruments and input basic data into production machinery as needed.
