Job summary

Nashville Wire Products is seeking an entry-level production operator to join our manufacturing team in Nashville, TN. You will operate basic productivity equipment, move materials between workstations, and help assemble or pack products under close supervision.

No prior experience required. You will receive team training on standard safety procedures and continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities to participate in projects and gain hands-on skills in quality inspection and line

Qualifications

• Ability to understand written or printed matter and communicate with coworkers.
• Basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic productivity equipment.
• Move materials between workstations.
• Assist other operators by loading or unloading jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assemble and/or pack products.
• Load and unload machines, conveyors, pallets or automatic lines.
• Must keep accurate counts of production parts.
• Produce to established standards and conduct simple quality inspections.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly. Follow safety procedures.
• Read specified measuring instruments (e.g., tape measure, micrometer).
• Input basic data into production machinery.
