Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain machinery.
• Basic arithmetic and computer skills.
• Comfortable using hand tooling and basic measuring equipment.
• Understand oral and written instructions with ability to learn quickly.
• Communication and people skills; team player willing to learn.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE and variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clocks to and perform transactions in Shop-Trak; provide updates on projects, material moves, and scrap.
• Load, unload, receive, and store raw materials and supplies.
• Prepare machines to start a production cycle, calibrate, clean and maintain safety standards.
• Use CAM programs to monitor and adjust machine settings.
• Perform periodic checks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain operator logs.
