Job summary

Arktura LLC, a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, is hiring for an entry-level production role in Carson, CA. The position involves assembling high-quality architectural systems under the direction of a Production Supervisor, with guidance from a Senior Production Associate.

Ideal candidates will have basic arithmetic and computer skills, good communication, and be team players willing to learn. The job requires working in a manufacturing environment with PPE and potential on-shift hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform transactions in Shop-Trak and update project status.
• Collect parts and supplies for assembly and packing.
• Use hand tools to assemble and pack per quality standards and safety procedures.
• Identify product defects and report nonconformances to supervisors/quality Inspector.
• Coordinate movement of assembled parts to next operation.
• Prepare, assemble, package, and label completed projects for shipping.
• Unload, receive, and store raw materials and supplies.
