Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials in Denver, CO is hiring a machine operator who will independently set up, operate and troubleshoot line equipment. You will manage material threading, quality checks and packaging while ensuring safety protocols.

The role requires attention to detail, forklift operation, and readiness to support multiple machines on the line. The position is onsite with a 40-hour workweek on the first shift, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Highly motivated with a good, sound work ethic.
• Able to safely operate a sit-down forklift; certification will be provided if needed.
• Must demonstrate safe working practices and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow CCM's policies, procedures, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, thread materials and operate one machine independently.
• Follow daily work orders with attention to materials and notations.
• Assist with operation of other machinery under supervision.
• Assist with packaging at end of line and as needed.
• Band and palletize metal; label finished products.
• Perform quality checks for lengths, widths and weights using proper tools.
• Meet production goals while following safety requirements.
• Adjust machinery based on monitoring feedback and perform QC methods.
