Architectural Metals – Wausau Window and Wall is hiring a Machine Operator I to operate production machinery in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment in Wausau, Wisconsin.

The role offers day or night shifts (6a–6p or 6p–6a) with a $19.50 per hour wage plus a $2 shift premium, and opportunities to cross-train across equipment while advancing within the Apogee Enterprises family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery and equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions."
• Use measuring tools to verify product quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
