Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking a Machine Operator I for the Door Line on the 2nd shift in Wausau, WI. You will set up and operate a production machine using computer-controlled equipment, following established procedures to produce parts that meet specifications and timelines.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring devices, and performing basic maintenance. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this manufacturing

Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
• Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
• Ability to follow blueprints and work instructions.
• Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate basic production machinery.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating machines.
• Monitor output to ensure it meets established quality specifications and report issues.
