Job summary

Behr Paint Company in Heath, Ohio is hiring a Machine/Filling Operator who is eager to learn. No prior experience is required, and training will cover paint manufacturing basics. You will cross-train on multiple lines to support any line that needs help.

Each shift begins on a production line where you oversee filling and case-packing. On dual-operator lines you and a teammate share duties, and you will sometimes pull cans/boxes with misprints and weigh cans to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee filling and case-packing on production lines.
• On dual-operator lines, partner with a teammate to split roles.
• Pull cans/boxes with misprints and inspect labels for accuracy.
• Periodically weigh cans to verify weight parameters and ensure filling equipment is within specs.
• Perform changeovers between paints and keep the cardboard machine well stocked with cases.
