Job summary

Bettenhausen Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram of Lockport is seeking an experienced Lube Technician to join our service team in a full-time capacity. The role offers an opportunity to advance your automotive career within a family-owned organization that emphasizes growth and education partnerships.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge required.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Detail oriented individual.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Drain oil from crankcase and replace oil and air filters.
• Perform MultiPoint Inspection and reports findings, including tire pressure and lubricating moving parts.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Ensure that customer cars and shop are neat and clean - report any customer changes.
• Maintain dealership-owned tools and manuals. Return them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received.
• Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc. Complete required trainings as necessary.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Other tasks as assigned.
