Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Columbia, TN hires an Entry-Level Lube Technician to perform basic maintenance and provide excellent service. You’ll learn through their award-winning training program and support a team that keeps guests safe on the road.

You don’t need prior automotive experience; you’ll be trained to change oil, check fluids, rotate tires, and perform a comprehensive 18-point safety check while delivering friendly, reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• Willing to undergo hands-on training as a Lube Technician.
• Schedule flexibility, including possible weekend shifts.
• English reading, writing, and speaking fluency.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and check/refill fluids.

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• We expect you can: Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
