Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Liberty, MO is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician. You’ll deliver friendly, high-quality customer service while performing preventative maintenance on customer vehicles in a collaborative team environment.

No previous automotive experience is required; our award-winning training program will teach you how to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests, light/wiper replacements, and an 18-point maintenance check.

Qualifications

• From day one, hands-on training is provided to thrive as a Lube Technician.
• Ability to review, read, and understand training materials and safety procedures.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

$16.75 per hour

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer‑focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

We expect you can:

• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
