Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) Lake Stevens is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician to join a friendly, collaborative team. You will perform preventive maintenance and top-tier service for guests, learning through an award-winning training program that requires no prior automotive experience.

Expect hands-on training, a supportive environment, and clear paths to growth, including potential advancement to a Service Center Manager role within 18–24 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance
• Check and refill vehicle fluids
• Rotate tires and inspect battery condition
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers as needed
• Perform an 18-point maintenance check
• Assist with other preventive maintenance tasks as trained

When you join us as an Entry-Level Lube Technician, your personal and professional goals will be fueled by a friendly and collaborative team environment. Together, we'll help keep our guests safe on the road by providing top-tier customer service, while performing preventative maintenance services for their vehicles. Your road to VIOC doesn't require previous automotive experience. Through our award-winning training program, we'll teach you how to:

• Change oil
• Check and refill fluids
• Rotate tires
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers
• Perform an 18-point maintenance check
• And other preventive maintenance services

QUALIFICATIONS: What you'll need to keep moving forward

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don't work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• We expect you can: Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
